#Country is Queen

BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA

Australian designer Jacob Nash’s ancestral land on his mother’s side is in the Daly River. He also has Chinese and Scottish heritage on his father’s side. He has spent the past 20 years living, working, and creating in Sydney on Eora Country. We’re excited to continue our partnership with Nash, collaborating on his latest installation, Country is Queen, located at 360 Queen Street in Brisbane.

This captivating installation features a stunning display of shimmering footprints. It comprises around a thousand hand-crafted aluminium pieces, each anodised and beautifully accented in dark ochre, creating a breathtaking visual experience. The installation stretches approximately 17.9 metres long, 2.2 metres wide, and rises to 4.6 metres high, all expertly engineered with a sophisticated rigging system.
