Complementing
Brisbane’s burgeoning cosmopolitan profile, developer Anthony
John Group teamed
with UAP to create a suite of artworks for the entry, lobby and
guest floors of
the Emporium Hotel. The signature piece—an extraordinary cast bronze sculptural
reception desk—dominates the lobby. A collection of filigree screens line the
walls of the lobby, inspired by a canopy of Frangipani trees. Leaves identify
the guest
floor lift lobbies. UAP also designed and fabricated the entry awning
and a diverse
suite of screens throughout the six star boutique hotel.
