Richard Sweeney

British artist Richard Sweeney collaborated with UAP on his artwork Swift for the newly developed Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre, in Suzhou, China. UAP worked with the artist to develop, fabricate and install the artwork, which sits atop a water feature, appearing to float weightlessly. Fabricated in stainless steel with a white paint finish, the artwork continues Sweeney’s signature technique of curved pleating, representing movement, agility and flight.

We delivered another two works for the Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre, Stephen Ormandy's The Family and Daniel Templeman's Three Rings.
